Farewell to Uwe Schneider

On 31 October 2026, we will be saying goodbye to our Sales Manager, Uwe Schneider, as he takes his well-deserved retirement. Since joining us on 1 July 2010, he has played a key role in shaping the development of AGO GmbH’s sales division and has built strong relationships with our customers and contractual partners over many years. 

With his dedication, experience and long-standing commitment to our company, Uwe Schneider has made a significant contribution to AGO’s development. 

Markus Ludwig, who also began his career at AGO, will take over as Head of Sales. Following a dual study programme in mechanical engineering, he went on to complete a Master’s degree in engineering. He thus combines practical experience gained within our company with a sound technical education – the ideal qualifications for taking on this new role and continuing the successful work in the sales department. Managing Director Günther Hein emphasises: “The fact that we are filling this position with a colleague from within our own ranks demonstrates how we nurture talent and create long-term career prospects within our company.” 

The management would like to express its sincere thanks to Uwe Schneider for more than 16 years of trust-based collaboration and his great commitment. We wish him good health, happiness and many wonderful moments as he embarks on this new chapter in his life. We wish Markus Ludwig every success and fulfilment in his new role, as well as a successful start as Sales Manager
