Summary of the Training Day

Last Saturday, a company-organised information fair for interested school pupils took place at various businesses in Goldenes Feld.
In the outdoor area, AGO presented the technical apprenticeship professions – mechatronics technician for refrigeration technology and plant mechanic – to visitors and gave them an insight into both theory and practice. 
Whether it was hard or soft soldering, pressing, PP welding, PE mirror welding or even thermal socket welding, the students were able to demonstrate their manual skills to us. In addition, the functioning of a refrigeration machine was explained using a physical model. 
In the foyer, the profession of technical systems planner was presented. Here, visitors were able to complete a short drawing exercise and also immerse themselves in the 3D world of building services engineering.
Finally, our Thermotechnology department provided information about our new dual study programme leading to a BA (Dipl.-Ing.) in Refrigeration Systems Engineering.

Conclusion from the managing directors: Overall, the event was a resounding success for us. We are delighted that so many pupils from the Kulmbach district took part and would like to take this opportunity to once again express our sincere thanks to everyone involved for their help and organisation!
