EnBW Honeywell Seelze
EnBW was awarded the contract to build a new energy centre for Honeywell in Seelze. AGO GmbH was commissioned to implement the plant engineering for this project. The scope of supply includes the systems for generating steam, hot water, cold water and cooling water. Natural gas-fired steam generators are used to ensure a reliable supply of process steam to the production processes. The process steam generated is collected centrally on a shared steam manifold and supplied to production as required. Several chillers and a heat pump are available for the cooling supply. The heat pump also serves to generate hot water and uses the cooling water from the plant’s existing cooling water circuit as a heat source.
Technical data:
- Steam capacity: 3 x 10 t/h
- Refrigeration capacity: 3 x 233 kW
- Steam heat recovery: 2 x 4 MW
- Recooling capacity: 4 x 2.2 MW
- Heat pump capacity: 1 x 1.8 MWtherm
