Ponnath, The Master Butcher’s Shop
A combined heat, power and cooling system comprising a CHP unit, a waste heat boiler and the ago congelo® absorption chiller to supply the production facility in Kemnath with electricity, steam, heat and cooling.
Our combined heat and power plant was named CHP Plant of the Month for November 2017 by the trade journal Energie & Management and subsequently unanimously awarded the title of CHP Plant of the Year 2017.

- Steam output: 760 kg/h at 8.5 bar (g)
- Cooling capacity: 350 – 550 kW (-10 °C)
- Low-temperature heat extraction: 168 – 200 kW
- Overall CHP efficiency: > 91.5%
- Recooling capacity (NH3): 1,730 – 2,130 kW
