AGO is committed to sustainability and operates its own PV system using Meyer-Burger modules
Kulmbach, 27 September 2023: As a pioneer in the development of high-temperature heat pumps for CO2-free industrial and municipal heat supply in Germany, AGO is further contributing to the energy transition by commissioning its own environmentally friendly power generation plant.
The PV system consists of an impressive 263 Meyer Burger “Black” modules with an output of just under 100 kWp and will in future supply renewable electricity to the day-to-day operations and the EV charging points at AGO’s headquarters in Kulmbach. The planning and installation of the PV system was carried out by the renowned company Greenion GmbH and took around three months.
“The decision to use the high-quality Meyer Burger modules was made not only because of the excellent business relationship with our client Meyer Burger, but also to support the struggling German solar industry,” emphasised Managing Director Günther Hein.
