EnBW – Wesergold, Dodow
At the Wesergold Group’s Dodow site, the modernisation of the steam, heating and cooling systems was carried out as part of a contracting project by EnBW Contracting GmbH, based on a holistically optimised energy concept. The newly constructed energy centre comprises two steam boilers and a combined heat and power (CHP) unit, as well as a new cooling centre with ammonia refrigeration systems. The objective of reducing energy costs through a state-of-the-art, efficient and safe energy supply was successfully achieved.
Technical data:
- CHP plant electrical output: 800 kW
- Steam output: 6.0 t/h saturated steam with 4-pass boiler/Eco, 6.0 t/h saturated steam with 3-pass boiler/Eco
- Heating water: 400 kWth with 37 m³ storage tank
- Low-temperature heat extraction for feedwater preheating
- Water treatment: 2 × 4 m³/h
