EEC - Large heat pump heater Garching

AGO GmbH was commissioned to extend the existing heating center by two compression heat pumps and to integrate them into the heating unit. Since both heat pumps are in the space of the peak load boilers, they had to be accommodated in a sound protection booth to shield sound and possible refrigerant leakages. The resulting engine waste heat is discharged from the sound protection cabin via a ventilation system. The two heat pumps operate with the refrigerant ammonia (R717), which is why the sound-protection cabin has been executed according to machine room standards and equipped with a gas warning system.
