Energy supply for a new production hall with compressed air, water, steam, condensate and implementation of a cogeneration plant with steam generation. The engine waste heat is used for domestic heating water and heating as well as heating of the building. A 80 m³-buffer was installed to compensate load fluctuations.

The existing gas turbine plant has been replaced with a CHP unit. Based on the increased overall efficiency in reference to the gas turbine system, the CHP plant has been elected “CHP of the month of August 2014” by the Federation of German Industries for Cogeneration.
