To supply energy to the new Siemens Campus in Erlangen, Stadtwerke Erlangen constructed a heating and cooling plant.

AGO GmbH implemented the complete plant engineering for the cooling plant, including generation, cold storage, free cooling, and water softening systems for adiabatic cooling.

The heating plant consists of 4 CHP modules, each with an electrical output of 2,096 kW.

AGO GmbH carried out the entire plant construction for this, including pressure maintenance for the district heating network.

Technical data:

  • Cooling capacity: 2 × 2,300 kW
  • Electrical output of CHP units: 4 × 2,096 kW
  • Heating network: 120 °C, 22.7 bar g
  • Hydraulic separator: 15 m³
