To improve security of supply in the district heating network, the ‘Wolfgang’ heating plant was expanded and two identical, natural gas-fired hot water generators with a total thermal output of approx. 16.8 MW were installed in a new building. The scope of work also included the necessary connections to the existing systems in the heating plant, such as heating water supply and return, gas supply and drinking water.
