Tübingen Municipal Utilities Eisenhut I CHP Plant
AGO GmbH was commissioned to modernise the Eisenhut II CHP plant. In addition to replacing the plant, the scope of work included structural upgrading of the building, renewal of the control system and the integration of an SCR catalytic converter system with a basement-mounted urea tank. In addition, efficient exhaust gas heat recovery and residual heat utilisation were achieved through the use of heat pumps. The district heating network pump system was also completely renewed. The project placed the highest demands on the reduction of noise emissions and vibration decoupling, and was successfully implemented.
Technical data:
- CHP electrical output: 2 × 2,004 kWel
- CHP thermal output: 2 × 2,162 kWth
- Heat pump output: 2 × 250 kW
- Network flow rate: 216 m³/h
- Urea tank: 30 m³
