Pirna Municipal Utilities

Stadtwerke Pirna GmbH (SWP) replaced its existing gas turbine plant with a combined heat and power (CHP) system and commissioned AGO to construct this new plant.

Due to the resulting increase in overall efficiency compared to the gas turbine plant, the new CHP plant was named ‘CHP Plant of the Month for August 2014’ by the German Association for Combined Heat and Power (Bundesverband Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung e.V.).
